In the British campaign, players take on the role of Sergeant Evans of the 6 Airborne Division who meets up with Captain Price who has appeared in previous CODs. You get to storm Normandy, fight anti-air battles with heavy artillery, use flamethrowers, and even roleplay Saving Private Ryan.
Call of Duty: WWII also features a diverse cast of characters which include the female leader of the French resistance. Activision said more will be revealed around E3, and the game will be at the event so the public can give it a try.
Don't act too surprised, but there will be a new Call of Duty game released this year. First on the list is the upcoming game's setting, which, as the name suggests, relives all the happenings from the infamous war.

The marketing item of "Call of Duty: WWII" also revealed that players will be fighting sometime in Normandy on D-Day, and they will be battling across Europe through some iconic locations in World War II time.
Additionally, a private beta will be available to those who preorder the game, though no official dates have been set for the beta.
Sledgehammer Games is bringing Call of Duty back to its roots with their first game in the series since Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.
In terms of a release date, numerous leaks have suggested Call of Duty WW2 will launch on November 3.
