THURSDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions return. Temperatures will drop down into the 50s, so much milder than where we were this morning. North of the Savannah River the area may hold on to drier air for a little longer, so showers/ rain would take longer to arrive, but later today as the ridge of high pressure continues to move east, will see most if not all counties receive beneficial rain. We are mostly cloudy and dry through midnight, whereafter showers will begin to move into the area from the west. Rain showers continue overnight, with mild temperatures ranging from 55 to 60 degrees and a southeast wind at about 10 miles per hour.
Spring-like temperatures continue through the week with highs Tuesday in the upper 70's.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with the chance for rain/showers in the afternoon. Wednesday a slight chance of showers will remain thanks to another lower pressure system dropping into the area.
Spotty to scattered showers and thunderstorms will form this afternoon along a passing cold front in the southern mountains and Upstate with peeks of sun and highs in the middle 70s to near 80 degree until then.
