She told the crowd: "I want to thank you for coming together and being so loving and strong and unified". "I love you guys so much and I think that the kind of love and unity you're displaying is the kind of medicine that the world really needs right now".
Up to 14,000 of those who attended Grande's May 22 concert, at which a suicide bomber killed 22 children and adults, were given free tickets to attend Sunday's show, with some persuaded to attend by their affection for the pop star, and despite their very real concerns about security.
During the star-studded concert Grande was joined by Marcus Mumford, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, the Black Eyed Peas, Chris Martin, Oasis, Pharrell, Little Mix and others to celebrate and honor the 22 victims of the bombing that occurred after Grande's concert on May 22. While her emotional performance melted hearts across the world, the huge rock on her ring finger did not go unnoticed and soon fans started speculating that the singer may have been engaged to the Divine Feminine album maker.
"And this is so lovely, you guys made that decision, you looked fear right in the face and you said "no we are Manchester and the world is watching".
PS4 Update 4.70 Brings Performance Improvements
In less than two weeks, E3 2017 will descend upon Los Angeles, and the time for rumors and speculation will come to an end. It's sold 85 million units in its 10 years of life, although it couldn't match the success of its predecessor, the PS2.
An emotional highlight came when Grande joined the Parrs Wood High School Choir for a version of her song, "My Everything", which had audience members, performers and many of those watching the live stream in tears.
"It's very important. We need to stand united against it now".
While stars at the concert praised Ariana for setting up the gig, others who weren't present took to Twitter to congratulate the singer for hosting such a successful benefit. "All we feel here tonight is love, resilience, positivity", said Pharrel Williams, who performed alongside Miley Cyrus.
The One Love Manchester concert raised $US2.6 million in donations in three hours for the victims of the attack.
Rachel Jea, 32, said she was at Grande's previous Manchester concert and felt it was important to attend Sunday's show to regain trust after the bombing. Texts cost £5 plus your standard network rate, with 100% of your donation going to the We Love Manchester Fund.
