That follows a report from ESPN.com's Adrian Wojnarowski over the weekend, which noted the Cavaliers were planning on seeking additional compensation from the Celtics after Thomas' physical "raised concern about the timeline for his return this season".
The Cavaliers traded star Kyrie Irving to the Celtics and received Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Nets' 201 unprotected first-round pick. Wojnarowski said that his sources told him that since the physical the Cavaliers have been evaluating Thomas' hip injury and weighing their options in regard to the Kyrie deal, which could include voiding it.
Brown and Tatum were both drafted No. 3 overall by the Celtics over the last two years.
Isaiah Thomas and Kyrie Irving were swapped for one another earlier this last week.
GCSE results: Hackney students 'excel yet again' in face of major reforms
A stunning 67 per cent of all grades achieved were at A*, with an equally striking 92 per cent of all grades at A* or A. An incredible 29 students achieved A* or above (8 or above on the new GSCE grading scale) in all their subjects.
The Cavs have also inquired about Jaylen Brown but Boston is resistant. "Boston believes that it was completely transparent with Cleveland about where Thomas was physically, his rehab", Wojnarowski added. However, that doesn't mean the Cavs' medical staff sees it the same way the Celtics did.
PAUL GEORGE: After George indicated he planned to leave IN as a free agent next summer, the Pacers went ahead and dealt the four-time all-star to the Oklahoma City Thunder this summer for guard Victor Oladipo and forward Damontas Sabonis.
The Kyrie Irving for Isaiah Thomas trade might be on hold right now. but it's GOING DOWN eventually - so says Austin Rivers. This isn't the first time Thomas has been traded; he spent three seasons in Sacramento and began the 2014-15 season with Phoenix before the Celtics acquired him.
Both of these teams will need to figure this out, but Cleveland shouldn't be making too many demands after the original deal that was made. To me, I think that's Boston's long-term master plan, and if you're trying to position yourself for an Anthony Davis trade-or signing-I really think bringing in a guy like Kyrie Irving definitely helps you if you're Boston. That is enough for the Cavaliers to take a pause on the trade.
